New Products from Travelers and Ahoy Insurance

At On The Water Marine Insurance, we’re always looking for ways to give our clients the best possible insurance coverage. As an independent marine insurance broker, I’m really excited to share some great news about new products from industry leaders Travelers and Ahoy Insurance that can offer you even more protection and peace of mind.

Introducing Travelers Boat 2.0 in Select States

Travelers has just launched their new Quantum Boat 2.0 product, and it’s a game-changer for boat owners. If you’re in Indiana, Missouri, Tennessee, or Texas, this is something you’ll want to know about. Here are a few highlights:

  • Expanded Agreed Value Coverage: With this, you can lock in your boat’s value at the start of your policy, so if the worst happens, you won’t have to worry about getting less than what your boat is worth.
  • Broader Navigation Limits: Whether you’re boating along the coast, on inland lakes, or even in international waters, this product has you covered.
  • First-Time Boat Owners Accepted: This is big! Travelers is now making it easier for first-time boat owners to get the comprehensive coverage they need, so if you’re new to boating, you’re in good hands.
  • New On-Water Towing with No Out-of-Pocket Costs: If you ever need towing while you’re out on the water, this coverage means you won’t have to pay anything out-of-pocket. It’s one less thing to worry about when you’re enjoying your time on the water.

With these features, Quantum Boat 2.0 is a fantastic option for both seasoned boaters and those just getting started.

Ahoy Insurance Expands to Alabama and Texas with Boat Product

Ahoy Insurance, which is known for its tech-savvy approach, has some exciting news too. They’ve expanded their offerings to Alabama and Texas with a product specifically designed for boats up to 50 feet in length and valued up to $500,000. One of the best parts? No marine surveys are required, which makes getting insured a breeze.

Plus, you can get a quote in just four minutes using their super user-friendly online platform. If you’re in Alabama or Texas and want a hassle-free insurance option, you can get started here.

Ahoy’s New Nationwide Yacht Insurance Product

But that’s not all. Ahoy has also rolled out a new surplus lines insurance product that’s perfect for yacht owners. This one’s available nationwide and is tailored for yachts up to 95 feet and valued up to $2.5 million. If you’re in Florida (or anywhere else in the country), this is a great option to consider.

This new yacht product includes comprehensive protection, flexible policy options, and all the tech-driven features that Ahoy is known for. We’ve already seen great success with these programs, including a $1.4 million center console in Texas that’s now covered.

With the introduction of Travelers’ Boat 2.0 in Indiana, Missouri, Tennessee, and Texas—especially with the new benefits for first-time boat owners and no out-of-pocket costs for on-water towing—and Ahoy Insurance’s expanded products in Alabama and Texas, along with their nationwide yacht coverage, we’ve got you covered like never before.
